The Book of Freak

I have been made privy to some of my friends amusing chat roulette experiences over the past few weeks as it seems to be doing the rounds but this video is pretty damn funny. The people that frequent the chat roulette website seem to be half naked guys or people going on to laugh or mock said half naked guys… I’m not sure what the half naked guys get out of it apart from exposing themselves to severe mickey-taking from complete strangers.

It really has been a year since we first launched The Book of Freak. So to celebrate our first birthday I thought it was worth a mention here. Thanks to all of you who have kept reading our posts and subscribing to the RSS feed. The first year has gone well and we hope to improve the site and make some new additions over the next 12 months so keep your eyes peeled.

To mark of our celebrations its maybe worth noting how one previously globally enamoured force on the internet scene has started its inevitable downturn and seems to have followed in the footsteps of Microsoft as it looks to be turning a slightly redder shade of evil… Or perhaps just getting to big for its boots.

OK Go – This Too Shall Pass

If you are anything like me you will have loved the previous music videos from this band. I think the beauty of the earlier videos was that, technically, they could have  been made by anyone with a sense of rhythm, a fantastic imagination and a video camera. This video is also very clever but you can see that money has been spent on it which puts it in a different class. Don’t think that this is any slight on the video however as it is truly excellent and the mind boggles as to how they set it all up. You can watch this many times and notice different things each time.
