A couple of my mates slate me for being a little bit in love with The Maccabees. In ‘Colour it in’ I hear five musicians playing right at the top of their game, right at the edge of their ability. I’ve just had my first listen of the new album ‘Wall of arms’ and all I can say is that these guys are in the same place entirely whilst being somewhere else altogether.
