I came across this news story earlier this week and I was quietly amused. My immediate thought was that this was the work of a jilted lover. Which could happen to anyone, hence my quiet amusement. This is the kind of thing that keeps people in loveless relationships for years, fearful of the confrontation needed to take the decisive step and bring the fiasco to an end. I imagine if men thought that their partner was going to plaster pictures of their love weapon adorned with a yellow bow all around their local town as a way of expressing the pain they had been subjected to then we would see a lot more loveless relationships. Or perhaps he had done the dirty on her and deserved it. Ha… The choice line here closes the story, “…from what we’ve seen, if this is a self-portrait, the artist won’t be in a hurry to be identified.”. Gulp! Poor guy, maybe?

So this is pretty immature in that I laugh at it purely because it sounds funny in an unfamiliar language from my native tongue. But aside from that and the fact that if I hadnt seen the movie I wouldn’t know what they were saying, it is still amusing to watch.
